Στο πλαίσιο του Ευρωπαϊκού Προγράμματος Διαπεριφερειακής Συνεργασίας Interreg Europe 2021‑2027, πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 17 και 18 Νοεμβρίου 2025 η 5η διαπεριφερειακή συνάντηση (Exchange of Experience – EoE) των εταίρων του έργου DeepTechValleys στην πόλη Γκρατς της Αυστρίας, με διοργανωτή εταίρο την Steirische Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft (SFG) και επικεφαλής εταίρο το Περιφερειακό Ταμείο Ανάπτυξης Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας.
Το έργο “DeepTechValleys” είναι ένα πρωτοποριακό έργο για την τεχνολογική καινοτομία σε όλη την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση. Το έργο συγχρηματοδοτείται από το πρόγραμμα Interreg Europe και η διάρκειά του είναι 51 μήνες (από 01/04/204 έως 30/06/2028). Στο εταιρικό σχήμα συμμετέχουν δέκα φορείς από εννέα χώρες της Ε.Ε. (Ελλάδα, Σουηδία, Ρουμανία, Αυστρία, Σλοβακία, Λιθουανία, Ισπανία, Πορτογαλία και Γαλλία). Η κοινοπραξία των δέκα εταίρων, με επικεφαλής εταίρο το Περιφερειακό Ταμείο Ανάπτυξης Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας, έχουν ενώσει τις δυνάμεις τους προκειμένου να καταρτίσουν ένα φιλόδοξο σχέδιο εννέα περιφερειακών πολιτικών για την τεχνολογική καινοτομία, που αποτελεί προτεραιότητα στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση. Το έργο προωθεί τη περιφερειακή και διαπεριφερειακή ανταλλαγή εμπειριών και γνώσεων, καθώς και την ανάπτυξη δεξιοτήτων για τη βελτίωση των εργαλείων χάραξης πολιτικής στο συγκεκριμένο τομέα. Μέσω των δράσεων του, οι εταίροι έχουν την ευκαιρία να μεταφέρουν και να αξιοποιήσουν καλές πρακτικές και το βαθύ τεχνολογικό τους δυναμικό ενισχύοντας ουσιαστικά την περιφερειακή ανταγωνιστικότητα και συνοχή.
Η πρώτη ημέρα ξεκίνησε με την συνάντηση της ομάδας συντονισμού του έργου (Steering Group Committee) και στη συνέχεια, πραγματοποιήθηκαν επίσημες εναρκτήριες ομιλίες από τον διοργανωτή εταίρο.
Ακολούθησαν παρουσιάσεις που ανέδειξαν την αναπτυξιακή δυναμική του οικοσυστήματος καινοτομίας της περιφέρειας της Στυρίας οι οποίες περιλάμβαναν την Startupmark που αφορά την υποστήριξη και ανάπτυξη νεοφυών επιχειρήσεων, την Styrian Cluster Structure όπου και παρουσιάστηκαν στρατηγικές για την ανάπτυξη περιφερειακών clusters, καθώς και τα Ευρωπαϊκά Χρηματοδοτικά Προγράμματα ως Εργαλεία για την ενίσχυση της βαθιάς τεχνολογίας.
Στη συνέχεια αναδείχθηκε η σημασία της συνεργασίας μεταξύ startups και μεγάλων εταιρειών. Το απόγευμα οι συμμετέχοντες μοιράστηκαν καλές πρακτικές και εμπειρίες γύρω από την καινοτομία και τη δημιουργία θέσεων εργασίας, ενώ η ημέρα ολοκληρώθηκε με θεματικό εργαστήριο για το μέλλον της συνεργασίας.
Η δεύτερη ημέρα ήταν αφιερωμένη στην πρακτική εξερεύνηση του οικοσυστήματος καινοτομίας και τεχνολογίας της Στυρίας. Οι συμμετέχοντες επισκέφθηκαν το Human Technology Styria Cluster στο Πανεπιστήμιο Ιατρικής της Γκρατς, το Medical Science City Graz, τον ZWT Incubator, καθώς και νεοφυείς επιχειρήσεις στον τομέα της υγείας.
Ακολούθησε επίσκεψη στην εταιρεία tyromotion, όπου παρουσιάστηκαν προηγμένες τεχνολογίες αποκατάστασης και συζητήθηκε πώς η έρευνα μετατρέπεται σε καινοτόμες λύσεις με κοινωνικό αντίκτυπο.
Οι εταίροι του έργου ανανέωσαν το ραντεβού τους για την επόμενη φάση του έργου, συνεχίζοντας τη δέσμευσή τους για μια ισχυρή και βιώσιμη ευρωπαϊκή τεχνολογική ανάπτυξη.

Within the framework of the European Programme for Interregional Cooperation Interreg Europe 2021–2027, the 5th interregional meeting (Exchange of Experience – EoE) of the partners of the DeepTechValleys project took place on 17 and 18 November 2025 in the city of Graz, Austria, with the organizing partner being the Steirische Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft (SFG) and the lead partner the Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia.
The project “DeepTechValleys” is a pioneering project for technological innovation throughout the European Union. The project is co-financed by the Interreg Europe programme and its duration is 51 months (from 01/04/2024 to 30/06/2028). The partnership involves ten organizations from nine EU countries (Greece, Sweden, Romania, Austria, Slovakia, Lithuania, Spain, Portugal, and France). The consortium of ten partners, led by the Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia, has joined forces to draw up an ambitious plan of nine regional policies for technological innovation, which is a priority in the European Union. The project promotes regional and interregional exchange of experiences and knowledge, as well as the development of skills for improving policy-making tools in this field. Through its actions, the partners have the opportunity to transfer and make use of good practices and their deep technological potential, substantially strengthening regional competitiveness and cohesion.
The first day began with the meeting of the project’s Steering Group Committee and was followed by official opening speeches from the organizing partner. Presentations then highlighted the developmental dynamics of the innovation ecosystem of the region of Styria, which included Startupmark concerning the support and growth of startups, the Styrian Cluster Structure where strategies for the development of regional clusters were presented, as well as European Funding Programmes as tools for strengthening deep technology. The importance of collaboration between startups and large companies was subsequently emphasized. In the afternoon, participants shared good practices and experiences around innovation and job creation, while the day concluded with a thematic workshop on the future of cooperation.
The second day was dedicated to the practical exploration of Styria’s innovation and technology ecosystem. Participants visited the Human Technology Styria Cluster at the Medical University of Graz, the Medical Science City Graz, the ZWT Incubator, as well as startups in the health sector. This was followed by a visit to the company tyromotion, where advanced rehabilitation technologies were presented and discussions took place on how research is transformed into innovative solutions with social impact. The project partners renewed their appointment for the next phase of the project, continuing their commitment to a strong and sustainable European technological development.
