Στην έβδομη Γενική Συνέλευση (General Assembly) των εταίρων του έργου SolarHub (A Greek-Turkish Solar Energy Excellence Hub to Advance European Green Deal) συμμετείχε το Περιφερειακό Ταμείο Ανάπτυξης Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας ως εταίρος του έργου.
Το έργο SolarHub αποτελεί μια σημαντική πρωτοβουλία για την ενίσχυση της συνεργασίας στον τομέα των ηλιακών τεχνολογιών, συμβάλλοντας στη διαμόρφωση ενός ισχυρού οικοσυστήματος έρευνας και καινοτομίας με μακροπρόθεσμο αναπτυξιακό και περιβαλλοντικό αποτύπωμα.
H 7η Γενική Συνέλευση του ευρωπαϊκού έργου SolarHub πραγματοποιήθηκε το τριήμερο 17–19 Φεβρουαρίου 2026 στην Αθήνα, συγκεντρώνοντας τους εταίρους του έργου με στόχο την αποτίμηση της προόδου, το συντονισμό των επόμενων βημάτων και την ενίσχυση της διακρατικής συνεργασίας στον τομέα της ηλιακής ενέργειας.
Η φετινή Γενική Συνέλευση αποκτά ιδιαίτερη σημασία, καθώς το έργο SolarHub εισέρχεται στο τελευταίο έτος υλοποίησής του, με τους εταίρους να επικεντρώνονται στην ολοκλήρωση των τεχνικών δράσεων, την κεφαλαιοποίηση των αποτελεσμάτων και τη διασφάλιση της βιωσιμότητας των συνεργασιών που αναπτύχθηκαν στο πλαίσιο του SolarHub.
Η συμμετοχή του Περιφερειακού Ταμείου Ανάπτυξης Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας στην 7η Γενική Συνέλευση εντάσσεται στη στρατηγική για την ενίσχυση της περιφερειακής καινοτομίας, τη στήριξη της πράσινης μετάβασης και την προώθηση της βιώσιμης ενεργειακής ανάπτυξης στην Περιφέρεια Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας και ευρύτερα. Το Περιφερειακό Ταμείο Ανάπτυξης Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας εκπροσώπησε η Διευθύντρια του φορέα Χρυσάνθη Κισκίνη, η οποία πραγματοποίησε παρουσίαση με τίτλο «RDFCM in Action: EU Projects, Strategic Initiatives & Networks». Στην παρουσίαση αναδείχθηκε ο ρόλος του Περιφερειακού Ταμείου Ανάπτυξης Κεντρικής Μακεδονίας στη διαχείριση και υλοποίηση ευρωπαϊκών έργων, στη διαμόρφωση στρατηγικών πρωτοβουλιών και στη συμμετοχή σε εθνικά και διακρατικά δίκτυα συνεργασίας.
Η έναρξη των εργασιών φιλοξενήθηκε στις εγκαταστάσεις του Κέντρου Ανανεώσιμων Πηγών και Εξοικονόμησης Ενέργειας (ΚΑΠΕ), όπου πραγματοποιήθηκαν παρουσιάσεις σχετικά με την πρόοδο των τεχνικών πακέτων εργασίας και τις επόμενες δράσεις του έργου. Στο πλαίσιο της Γενικής Συνέλευσης, οι εταίροι επισκέφθηκαν εγκαταστάσεις ηλιακής θερμικής τεχνολογίας (SAMMLER solar), όπου παρουσιάστηκε η ανάπτυξη και ο προ-σχεδιασμός καινοτόμων λύσεων για εφαρμογές χαμηλής θερμοκρασίας στη βιομηχανία, συμβάλλοντας ουσιαστικά προς την κατεύθυνση της απανθρακοποίησης.
Κατά τη διάρκεια των εργασιών της Γενικής Συνέλευσης, συζητήθηκαν ζητήματα που αφορούν:
– την πρόοδο των ερευνητικών και τεχνολογικών δραστηριοτήτων,
– την ενίσχυση του διασυνοριακού οικοσυστήματος καινοτομίας,
– τη διασύνδεση έρευνας, πολιτικής και αγοράς,
– τις επόμενες συνέργειες που αναμένεται να ενδυναμώσουν περαιτέρω το δίκτυο SolarHub.

The Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia at the 7th General Assembly of the “SolarHub” Project Partners.
The Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia participated as a project partner in the 7th General Assembly of the partners of the SolarHub project (A Greek–Turkish Solar Energy Excellence Hub to Advance the European Green Deal).
The SolarHub project constitutes an important initiative aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of solar technologies, contributing to the development of a strong research and innovation ecosystem with a long-term developmental and environmental impact.
The 7th General Assembly of the European SolarHub project took place over three days, from 17 to 19 February 2026, in Athens, bringing together the project partners to assess progress, coordinate the next steps, and further strengthen transnational cooperation in the field of solar energy.
This year’s General Assembly is of particular importance as the SolarHub project enters its final year of implementation, with partners focusing on the completion of technical activities, the capitalization of project results, and ensuring the sustainability of the collaborations developed within the framework of SolarHub.
The participation of the Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia in the 7th General Assembly is part of its strategy to strengthen regional innovation, support the green transition, and promote sustainable energy development in the Region of Central Macedonia and beyond.
The Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia was represented by the Director of the organization, Chrysanthi Kiskini, who delivered a presentation titled “RDFCM in Action: EU Projects, Strategic Initiatives & Networks.” The presentation highlighted the role of the Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia in the management and implementation of European projects, the development of strategic initiatives, and participation in national and transnational cooperation networks.
The opening session was hosted at the premises of the Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving (CRES), where presentations were delivered regarding the progress of the technical work packages and the upcoming actions of the project.
Within the framework of the General Assembly, the partners also visited solar thermal technology facilities (SAMMLER solar), where the development and pre-design of innovative solutions for low-temperature industrial applications were presented, contributing significantly to the decarbonization effort.
During the sessions of the General Assembly, discussions focused on:
- the progress of research and technological activities
- the strengthening of the cross-border innovation ecosystem
- the connection between research, policy, and the market
- upcoming synergies expected to further strengthen the SolarHub network
